Disclaimer!: THIS IS AN UNFINISHED POST, THAT I NEVER ALLOWED MYSELF TO FINISH, FOR MULTIPLE REASONS. ONE, BEING THAT A LOT OF MY IDEAS HAVE SHIFTED SINCE I STARTED WRITING THIS POST; AND SECONDLY…WELL…I just took too long to write it :-P.
I figured i’d post it anyway, for whatever reason.
Peace all 🙂
Peace Yall :).
I hope this 12/12/12 energy has reached you in the highest of positive intention and vibration, and all that good stuff.
If you’ve been existing on the physical plane for the last couple of months, and paying close attention, you’ve had to have noticed all of the crazy shit changing around you. Even if you haven’t been using paying attention, you’ve noticed said shit, just in a different way.
Or maybe not. Maybe you’re gliding through life, simply existing as normally as you have been for the past umpteen years. I wouldn’t bet the house on it tho.
Either way you feel, there’s a whole lot of talk up in the aether about the revered yet infamous date of 12/21/2012 (The Winter Solstice/end of Mayan Long Count), and what it means. Whether it be spiritual, mental, bullshit, or something helpful.
What do I think it means?
Shit, I don’t reeeallly know.
But I have this hunch that it means something.
Look at the commonality of many of the multiple 2012 prophecies:
The Mayans predicted the “End of the 4th Sun, and the Beginning of the 5th”.
The Hopi natives predicted a “time of purification”, followed by a 5th Sun.
The Zulu believe that we are currently in the 6th world of darkness, which will soon return to the positive, loving, mothering vibe of the 5th sun that came before it.
The Dogon believe that it is the time of the return of the glorious Nommo.
Apparently, the Americans believe we’re all gonna die in an Alien and/or world Terrorist attack with bombs, rockets, murder, blood and despair. ( Or is this a generalization? Americans, hit the comments if you believe differently! :] )
No matter what you or I believe, or if our beliefs even matter, we can all sense some strange change.
Ummmm, what is you talking about October. Shit ain’t changing. Shit is worse than it was before.
Right. Is that not change?
So what’re you trying to say October? I see no hard and fast evidence of anything “changing”.
Hurricanes in the East coast, California still ain’t cracked with the much fated overdue Earthquake of Impending Doom, Rihanna looks happy, people smile at eachother, and the moon passed between the sun and earth in a Syzygy (eclipse) and made a whole island dark for a while. Now if you can think of a moment in your life where the opposite of any of those events has occurred, that, my child, is the definition of change.
In fact, everything changes, October. So this “change” you speak of is nothing special or unknown. Everything changes. Should we get all extra excited and make a blog for EVERYTHING that changes?
You right. Exactly. But is change not worthy of acknowledgement, simply because it happens often? And yes, mah dude, there is an excited blog post for everything. Find yo map along the information interstate bruh.
So in lieu of today being exactly 20 days before that fated day of December 21, 2012, here are a few of my own personal Octoberist theologies about what the heck is going groovy with Carmen San Diego on the eve of the turquoise year, and how we can work with that.
Translation?: Here’s what I think is going on right now in 2012, and how we can work with it.
I guess on a grander note, that last sentence of the post I never finished can be used as the genesis for all other things this blog will build on.
Let’s get started.
Procrastination killed the early worm, or however you say it. ;P
